I studied architecture at Cornell and spent seven years in practice designing housing, education, and hospitality projects. Wanting to understand the forces that shape cities and regions, I went to Harvard’s Master in Design Engineering program to study the systems behind urban and rural development.
After Harvard I co-founded Aretian Urban Analytics and Design, where I helped lead a team through 27 projects worldwide in economic development, innovation districts, and urban systems. Clients included Massport, Tecnológico de Monterrey, the City of Barcelona, and NEOM’s The Line in Saudi Arabia. The research behind that work has been cited widely and adopted by agencies across the US and Europe.
At Meridian XYZ I build custom data solutions for clients, from AI strategy to operational intelligence and digital twins. I am also developing a geospatial model of New York City to study the conditions behind successful and unsuccessful real estate development.
Across architecture, urban analytics, and data systems, the same belief has held: complex problems yield to the right model, the right data, and the right questions. I am based in Brooklyn and work with clients across the United States.
